4 Steps to Use

  • 1. Before you start

    Wash your hands. Pinch the SmoothDisc™ rim at the center into a figure-8.

  • 2. Position

    Squat, sit on the toilet, or stand with one leg raised. Relax your pelvic floor. Pinch the disc with one hand, gently spread your labia with the other.

  • 3. Insert and secure

    Push the disc in and back, toward your tailbone, as deep as it will go. Tuck the rim up behind your pubic bone to secure it.

  • 4. Remove

    Wash your hands. Relax your pelvic floor. Hook a finger under the rim. Pull it down and away from your pubic bone, then draw the disc straight out, keeping the bowl level.

FAQ

Why is the Annual Supply 45 boxes?

Each disc has a 12-hour maximum wear time, so one day of bleeding needs about 2 discs. At an average 5-day period and roughly 13 periods a year, base need works out to about 130 discs. 45 boxes (135 discs) rounds that up with a small cushion, in case one period in the year runs longer than usual.

What if my cycle doesn't match the average?

That math is based on averages — a 28-day cycle, a 5-day period — not a fixed number for every body. If your periods run longer or your cycle is shorter, you may use the supply up sooner or have some left over.

Can I have sex while wearing SmoothDisc™?

Yes. SmoothDisc™ is designed for penetrative sex during your period. It's not a form of contraception. The disc only catches blood released from the cervix — it doesn't affect the fluid your vaginal walls naturally produce.

I have heavy flow. Can I use SmoothDisc™?

Yes. One disc holds 56ml over 12 hours. When you use the bathroom, the disc autodumps to reset its capacity — that's by design, not a leak.

Can I reuse a SmoothDisc™?

No. Each SmoothDisc™ is strictly single-use. After removal, throw it in the trash — never flush it.
